Tierra L. Dobry Foundation, Routes Of Hope, 11-5-11
Tierra Dobry was a dedicated dental hygienist who lost her battle with cancer. She was a member of the first dental hygiene class of Montgomery County Community College (1975). A foundation was established in her name at MCCC. Routes of Hope is a 5 K run/walk to raise funds for her foundation. For more information on the Tierra L. IRENE NEWMAN AWARD
Sponsored by Colgate, this award recognizes a current ADHA member who has been involved with ADHA for at least 15 years and who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in advancing the art and science of dental hygiene. The recipient participated within her community or social service organization and was nominated by an active ADHA member.
